Tara, a 13 year old black Labrador, was brought into us as a stray on 1st July by the SSPCA, who had rescued her from the Water of Leith. She had negotiated her way across a busy main road to go for a swim to cool off, but then got into difficulties in the deep water. Her owners, Mr and Mrs Kane, soon arrived to collect her and take her home to be reunited with her golden Labrador sister, Gemma. Her owners, and Gemma, were so pleased and relieved to have her back.
