Pet Boarding info
How we can make your pet's stay as comfortable and as stress-free as possible.

It is always stressful for an owner to leave their pet when they go off on holiday (especially for the first time), but here is some information about our facilities that might put your mind at rest.

Dogs

Our boarding kennels are modern, purpose built boarding kennels which all have under-floor heating to keep them at the right temperature all year round. The kennels are tiled throughout making them more hygienic and easier to clean. Each kennel has access to an outside exercise run where the dogs can get fresh air and stretch their legs. We also have a large grassy exercise area where our boarding dogs are taken for a walk each day and where they can run around to their heart’s content and chase a ball or play with a member of staff. You can discuss your pet’s exercising requirements with a member of our boarding staff when you leave them with us and we can ensure that your pet is well cared for.

Cats

The boarding cattery is a very peaceful, happy place and is very popular with our clients. The cat pens are light, clean and comfortable. The warm air heating ensures the correct temperature for your cat whatever the time of year. All cats have their own spacious pen with access to an outside run where they can enjoy the fresh air while exercising or just lazing around.

General Information
Many pets are on special diets when they come to us or are used to having their own special food. You can bring this with you when you bring your pet in for boarding. Alternatively, if you let us know in advance, we will ensure that we have enough adequate supplies of your pet’s special or preferred food while they are staying with us.

If your pet takes regular medicine, and your vet advises you that it is okay for your pet to board with us, remember to bring the medication with you when you bring your pet to us. It also is important that you let us know of your pet’s habits or any minor ailments or health problems they are, or have been, prone to. The stress of being away from you and their home may have an effect on your pet and the more we know about your pet’s history, the better, so that we can ensure their wellbeing while they are with us.

To help your pet to settle in well and make them feel at home, it is always a good idea to bring with you some items of bedding or a well-loved toy from home.

Remember that some times of the year can be very busy – especially school holiday times – so please book up early to ensure your space. Most of our custom comes from repeat business, or recommendation. When your pet comes to us for all its holidays, we get to know it well – and they get to know us. They are always given a fond welcome and treated like old friends! Remember, if they are happy, you will be happy too!

If you haven’t boarded with us before, why not come along and inspect our boarding facilities and speak to our staff? You are welcome any time and no appointment is necessary.
