Hi my name is Cara. I might be a mature dog but I’m still full of life. I have lots of energy left and enjoy getting out for a walk - especially if I can have a play with a ball. I am a very affectionate lady who adores people and I get on with other dogs.

Poor Lucy is a very nervous girl who is looking for the right person to come and give her the love that she so desperately needs. She takes a while to get to know people and is very wary of men. She is looking for an understanding owner, with a quiet child free home, who will slowly help her to gain some confidence and gradually introduce her to new people.

About Pickle

Pickle is an absolutely adorable girl who is a favourite with our staff. After being a fantastic mummy to her puppies until they all found homes, she is now ready to find an owner of her own who can give her all the love that she deserves.  She is a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves people. She adores other dogs but her play can be a little boisterous for some. She would ideally like to live with another playful dog. Pickle loves to play fetch and will happily chase a ball for as long as you can throw it.

About Louis

Louis is a lovely friendly boy who absolutely loves people. He is a very affectionate wee dog who just loves being made a fuss of and is always happy to have a cuddle. He is an energetic dog who enjoys his walks and likes to play with his toys.  Louis does need some further training and will need to be walked on a lead as he’s not keen on other dogs.

Poor Troy has spent over two years with us and he is desperate to find an owner of his own. He is a very affectionate boy who just adores people. He loves cuddles and is always happy to be made a fuss of. Unfortunately Troy is not keen on other dogs and will have to be kept on the lead when he is out. He is a typically energetic Staffie who likes to be on the go. He is looking for an experienced owner, without children, who is prepared to do training.

Poor Jools is a very nervous girl who finds it difficult to trust people that she doesn’t know. She is extremely affectionate and loving with the people who take the time to get to know her. She loves toys and adores doggy biscuits. She is looking for an experienced owner who will give her the understanding and love that she needs. Jools would like to be the only dog in her new home.

She does have a lot of love to give but finds it very difficult to trust new people. Her new owner must be a very loving and patient person who has a nice quiet home without children or any other animals.

Missy is a lovely lady who is looking for an owner who will give her lots of TLC. She can take a while to get to know new people, but when she does she is a friendly and very affectionate girl. Missy adores her bed and likes to spend lots of time there, although she is always happy to go out for a walk.

About Rocky

Rocky was reluctantly given to us by an owner whose circumstances made it impossible to keep him. He is a lovely young boy who is always happy and wagging his tail. He is very friendly and loves people, he is used to living with older kids, and he gets on well with other dogs. He is an energetic boy who loves playing and going for walks. He can be excitable and would benefit from further training, but being eager to please, any training should be straightforward.

Zander is a gorgeous boy with a lovely friendly nature. He is very affectionate and he is always happy to be made a fuss of. He has been going home with a member of staff, who tells us that he is well behaved in the house and he loves spending time with her other dogs. He can be very nervous when he’s outside so he is looking for an experienced owner who can help him gain confidence. Zander would prefer a quieter home without young children.

Rhona is a lovely big girl who is very affectionate with people that she knows. She is however very wary of strangers and does not get on well with other dogs. Rhona is looking for an experienced owner, without children, who can give her a loving home in a relatively calm environment.

About Clive

Poor Clive has been looking for a home for far too long now and is desperate to find a loving owner. He is a gorgeous boy who is very affectionate and sweet natured with the people he knows. He is a definite favourite with the staff here who all love him to bits. Clive is a dog who is happiest when he knows his place in the ‘family pack’ and is looking for an experienced owner who will give him boundaries. He has lived in a kennel situation for a long time now so his new owner needs to be an understanding person who can gradually introduce Clive to new people and new situations.He would suit a quiet and calm home without children. Clive gets on with some other dogs and has lived with another dog in the past.
