About Buddy

Hi my name is Buddy. I’m a very friendly boy and I absolutely adore people. I’m very affectionate and I’m at my happiest when I’m getting cuddles. I get lonely and upset when I’m left alone, so I’m looking for an owner who can spend most of their time with me. I’m not too keen on cats, but I love other dogs and enjoy getting out for walks so I can run around with my doggy friends. I have good basic training but need some help gaining the confidence I need to be left alone.

Poor Lucy is a very nervous girl who is looking for the right person to come and give her the love that she so desperately needs. She takes a while to get to know people and is very wary of men. She is looking for an understanding owner, with a quiet child free home, who will slowly help her to gain some confidence. Lucy requires an experienced owner.

Buckley is a very handsome boy with a lovely nature. He is an energetic dog who likes to keep active, he loves to play with his toys and enjoys going for lots of walks.  He really likes biscuits and will happily sit and give paws to get a doggy treat. Buckley has been unfazed by other dogs while staying in the kennel.

Bullet is a lovely looking little dog who loves to be on the go. He is a very energetic wee dog who is always happy to go for a long walk. He has a strong character and does require some training.  He is looking for an experienced owner without children.

Poor Troy has spent over two years with us and he is desperate to find an owner of his own. He is a very affectionate boy who just adores people. He loves cuddles and is always happy to be made a fuss of. Unfortunately Troy is not keen on other dogs and will have to be kept on the lead when he is out. He is a typically energetic Staffie who likes to be on the go. He is looking for an experienced owner, without children, who is prepared to do training.

Poor Toby was found abandoned outside our reception; he understandably has some anxiety issues. He has a very independent nature; he can be affectionate but only on his terms. He enjoys going for walks and loves playing fetch. Toby is looking for an owner, without children, who is willing to work through his problems in a home where he will be the only dog.

Snoop is a lovely girl who is very affectionate and loving with the people that she knows. She can be wary of new people so she is looking for an understanding owner, without kids, who can help her to slowly build some confidence. Snoop is a very energetic girl who enjoys chasing a ball when she’s out for a walk. She loves her bed and is always happy to spend time there. Although Snoop is receiving medication for her skin in our hospital unit at the moment, she is still looking for an owner and would be happy to meet any one who may be interested in giving her a home.

Pickle is an absolutely adorable girl who is a favourite with our staff. After being a fantastic mummy to her puppies until they all found homes, she is now ready to find an owner of her own who can give her all the love that she deserves.  She is a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves people. She adores other dogs but her play can be a little boisterous for some. She would ideally like to live with another playful dog. Pickle loves to play fetch and will happily chase a ball for as long as you can throw it.

Rocky was reluctantly given to us by an owner whose circumstances made it impossible to keep him. He is a lovely young boy who is always happy and wagging his tail. He is very friendly and loves people, he is used to living with older kids, and he gets on well with other dogs. He is an energetic boy who loves playing and going for walks. He can be excitable and would benefit from further training, but being eager to please, any training should be straightforward.

Ludo is a gorgeous young boy who is full of enthusiasm and very eager to please. When he gets over his initial nervousness he is a very friendly and affectionate boy. He is a lovely dog who is a favourite with the staff who have even been taking him home in the evenings and taking him along to training classes. He gets on well with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in his new home. Ludo is looking for a patient and understanding owner, without young children, who can carry on with his training and socialisation.

Poor Clive has been looking for a home for far too long now and is desperate to find a loving owner. He is a gorgeous boy who is very affectionate and sweet natured with the people he knows. He is a definite favourite with the staff here who all love him to bits. Clive is a dog who is happiest when he knows his place in the ‘family pack’ and is looking for an experienced owner who will give him boundaries. He has lived in a kennel situation for a long time now so his new owner needs to be an understanding person who can gradually introduce Clive to new people and new situations.He would suit a quiet and calm home without children. Clive gets on with some other dogs and has lived with another dog in the past.
